Trip delay
Six hours is an unusually low threshold. Most cards start at twelve, including cards from the same issuer, so this one reaches delays the others miss.
Air traffic control delays are not on the covered list, which catches people out because it is one of the most common reasons a flight runs late.
Unusually, a delay caused by lost or stolen travel documents is covered.
Strikes are not covered here, though most cards do cover them.
